Hi!
I recently went to the doctor about my excessive daytime sleeping and other symptoms to find out that I most likely have narcolepsy. Before I can be formally diagnosed, I need to complete the sleep study. The doctor seems to think that there will be no negative reprocussions from being formally diagnosed, but my family seems to think that it will negatively effect me because my insurance rates will go up and my drivers' license and auto insurance might be effected. I wanted to find out from those dealing with Narcolepsy how, if at all, your diagnosis has effected these things, along with any other aspects of life. Thank you so much for your help!
