I've just got to say...I was administered Propofol in December for an endoscopy.
It knocked me OUT. Within 30 seconds, just like the doc said. I agree that it wasn't the smartest drug to use. When the doctor was warning me about what to expect, he mentioned very seriously that it was possible to cause me to stop breathing. He kinda brushed off the fact that he'd just intubate me to fix it, but if a doc wasn't able to get to MJ in time, it was the perfect scenario for things to go wrong.
