Very interesting. I know our hormones have some impact on our sleep. They should do a study on post-menopausal women and narcolepsy. I never had a problem with fragmented sleep in my younger years. Since my hysterectomy and narcolepsy has gotten much worse and the fragmented sleep began. I used to be able to sleep 12-14 hours, now I'm lucky to sleep 4-5 hours at a stretch and sometimes that's with a sleep aid.
