For a first Post, girl "You Rock"!
I have been taking Amphetomines for 45 years. I only used an extra pill if I was on a trip and needed to stay alert. I have high blood pressure, but then I am 72 years old.
Without medication I would not have had anything. I went through a divorce, got custody of all three kids. After 2 1/2 years by myself, a wonderful woman married me and raised my kids. We have been together for 33 years, and never have I wished it was different. I kept a job and was never fired. We do not have wealth, but we do not owe a dime to anyone.
Anyone that can go without meds, and is happy in their life, should go for it.
I figure that without meds I would have operated at 25%.
In the 60's I read an article about a man who was 70, and he had never held a job for more than 2 weeks. Until a short time before this, there was no help or medication that was available for Narcoleptics.
