Yes, no doubt doctors need to be educated and you did the right thing. I think what makes me so mad is that I have been diagnosed for twenty one years and it seems like from what I hear, in the twenty one years, nothing has changed in terms of doctor training. It is still minimal. The stories continue of people who were not properly diagnosed in a timely way. That has to stop. It seems criminal not to mention cruel. Doctors have to pay a price for their ignorance and I guarantee you the training in sleep disorders will increase.
