Aderall is a much different acting drug than nuvigil. Aderall and ritalin are more in the same catagory. Provigil and Nuvigil are different. I have been taking Nuvigil for almost two months now and preferr it even to provigil. I don't get that onset of feeling of "going fast" so to speak". I just feel awake and alert with not side affects, more of a normal feeling. I have had to play around with dosing, but I have found that it does last longer than the provigil. I do split my doses into two a day now and find that better for me.

At sixy one and a hysterectomy I don't take birth conrol, but I do take 2 mg estrace, just estrogen daily. I have taken that for sixteen years. What does the doctor say the effects of taking estrogen with nuvigil are? I haven't heard of anything and it wasn't mentioned to me when I talked to a pharmacist at the Cephalon company.
