Vibration cancellation device

I'd like further details of a device sometimes built into engines to reduce vibration. I beieve it spins at 2 x shaft speed. Its vibration cancels some of the engine-produced vibration. This permits the engine (of a motorcyle, for example) to be hard mounted to the vehicle frame.
