Large shakers have the limitation of 3 KHz because the Armature Resoance is near 3 KHz.
A shaker would not respond appropriately after armature resonance.
What you need to do is conduct the test on a smaller shaker whose armature resonance would be near 6 KHz. But then what is the mass of your DUT ( device under test ).
Well, PSD means Power Spectral Density or energy content in the Random Signal.
