Response to Measuring acceleration of mechanical shaker

The drawing for the machine in question is found in the 2003 edition of the SAE Ground Vehicle Lighting Standards Manual on page 251. A motor turns a cam which raises a table .125" above a stationary anvil, once the cam reaches its break away point a set of springs set at 60 to 70 lbs will pull the table onto the anvil. Cam rotation and table lift should occur 750 cycles per minute.
