I'm currently doing a small project that involves installing some electronic equipment inside a tracked vehicle. I have the shock and vibration specifications for the tracked vehicle but am slightly confused.
The sepcifications have come from Def Stan 00-35 Part 5 Ch 6.01 Fig 8.
The Power Spectral Density graph, Its a littel confusing trying to explain the graph, but basically it slopes up then levels off and then slopes back down again. But at the point where it levels off there are three spikes, f1, f2 and f3. along the side of the graph it states, the bandwidths of these spikes and the swept frequency ranges of these spikes.
What do these mean??
I am also trying to compare the requirements of this vehicle against the speifications for the equipment, there seem to be so many different ways to specify vibration I'm getting very confused. Can anyone give me a quick masterclass, or point me in the direction of a where I can get this explained
