One of the controlling parameters for The Slip Table Resonance is the length of the Slip Table. You cannopt change that now. I think the amount of change you want calls for a new slip table.
But then, what you mention re the ST resonance is quite normal.
What you need is a good controller which will control your test even at the resonance of the Slip Table.
The Controller's Dynamic Range will so adjust the Drive Spectrum that your test should go OK.
