I will tell you something which normally people use.
Just take 1 g Sine Test from 5 Hz to 1000 Hz. Like I said Ch1 on the Table as Control and Ch 2 on the DUT as measurement.
Run the sweep at 0.5 Oct/ mt.
Observe the graph Ch2/Ch1. Observe the peaks. Is there any peak >3g, better >5g. Take that peak as Resonance and then do a dwell test at the frequency for 2 hours as you mentioned.
Whether you have resonance serach software or no, the above method is quite fool proof.
