I was notified by my calibration lab that the "as received" condition of my accelerometer was out of tolerance. They noted a 12% drop in sensitivity. I have used this accelerometer to perform vibration and drop-shock tests. Vibration is per MIL-STD-1344, Method 2005, Test Condition 4 and Shock is per MIL-STD-1344, Method 2004, Test Condition E. I am using a Columbia Research Laboratories general purpose model 5005 accelerometer. The vibration control system consists of Trig∙Tek models 801D compressor, 610E vibration monitor and 701C sweep generator . The shock test system uses a Trig∙Tek model 203M charge amplifier, a storage scope and a 36" L.A.B. drop-shock tester.

How does the 12% drop in sensitivity affect the tests that I previously ran. I have no idea when the accelerometer went out of tolerance. Do I have to run all the tests again since the results are now suspect?
