Response to bearing Envelope

Kate, Deepak and I can tell that you're a beginner. One has to start somewhere, and the best place to start is at http://www.vibrationandshock.com/book.htm.

Remind me via an e-mail to tustin@equipment-reliability.com that I'm to e-mail you a pdf version of the "overview" Chapter 1. And enough pof Chapter 2 so that you'll understand acceleration and be ready for accelerometers in Chapters 7 and 8. Then in Chapter 11 we'll discuss machinery vibrations. Deepak and I keep it simple and understandable.

Best wishes,

Wayne Tustin
