Response to Vibration impact on light or heavy mass

Let us consider the vibration you mentioned as an external constant force, say Sinusoidal.

The object will lower mass will resonate with a higher Q at higher frequency than the object with higher mass which will resonate at lower frequency and lesser Q.

Do remember that Resonance Frequency = (1/2Pi)*[sqrt(K/M)]

We need to keep stiffness also in mind.
