I phoned Jeff and explained that that spectrum is probably not based upon measurements but rather upon the collective opinions of some experienced test people who were asked "What's a good test to commence with?" A sine test beforehand to identify resonances warns of potential troubles. Increase the Category 24 intensity until failures occur; identify (and perhaps strengthen) any weaknesses in your product; gain information about your margins. Certainly if you know something about the vibration/shock (and other) environments where your hardware will be mounted, add appropriate environmental tests.
