Mauricio should warn her

Mauricio should call Daniela up and tell her what Fabian is planning. When they said goodbye, Mauricio said he wanted them to not have hard feeling about anything. Well, to prove his friendship to her in spite of the fact they broke up, he should call her and tell her Fabian is going to try something devious with her. Why is he just sitting on his butt and letting Fabian mess with her?
