Dear all

What a disappointment to see that the forum was down when I managed to find a business center last night. I am still on the Thai timezone I guess and was waking up early eager to post on the PMWF.com ... I called the business support center and told them that there hispeed connection was not working ... I was wrong, it was PMWF.com that was down.

But... it is again that fiber optic equipment from Bell... I guess since Alexander Graham Bell left that company, things changed. During all downs of PMWF.com it was always that fiber optics gear from Bell that was the culprit.

Never mind. We had a fun first day in NYC on arrival on Thursday. I was so tired that my daughter - she slept a cool 10 hours on the 17 hours polar flight, vs. 1 hour of mine - had to wake me 5 times on a short taxi trip from 7th to the American Natural history museum... and I almost fell asleep when standing...

Yesterday we had a great day at the Niagara falls in the "Maiden of the Mist" (boat tour). Tonight we will be heading to the capital.

Wish I could be at the NYC gathering. Major scheduled events at work this year have required my presence and been preventing taking much vacation time. Nearly all those commitments are done with at the end of this month.
