With academy in existance c1 teams weakend a lot because most of the good players on c1 level are now playing academy.R3pl has more good players and higher level players than academy.
Once academy has best coaches they will get best players but until then r3pl is better option for everybody who is interested in development .
I know that someone will argue this but a fact that you have 20+ players on the team beats any argument that academy is about development .You have players on academy teams who didnt play at all last season.Whay they picked them at first place if it is not about money.We all seen those kids on r3pl teams tryouts.

Get best Coaches and you will get best players.
Until then nothing good will hapen to you.
