Response to Marketing 101
Sell against the sizzle of the steak since if they eat the steak they might like it.
Sell against the cost of the cleats, forget about the feature and benefits of each.Just lump every high priced cleat as being a marketing scheme.
Sell against any "elite" or "premier" program that your club does not have. Tell parents its a marketing scheme or just another way coaches make money.
Hope that parents/players wear blinders and won't bother to do their own research on things.
Hope that fear keeps people for making decisions based on their own child's goals.
Hope that a parent/player will read your 99 posts against a certain program and take it as fact. Instead of just picking up a phone, sending an email or text and finding out from the source what the situation is.
You say lead the heard to slaughter, I say stay on the fence and get shot.
Bottom line is, people will make their own decisions. You may be able to scare them to buy you some time but in the end people tend to see beyond all the BS.
