U10 - U12 Academy Focus

Just curious

I am taking a poll

What should be focus of coaching be at the academy level for players.

1. individual player skills / foot skills
2. team strategy and passing
3. focus more on # 1 w/ some of #2 or vice versa?

Also should a coach be directing every move that a player makes.

I am watching my child's team fragment and just wondering if the coaching philosophy I see will remold the team to be better or just break them apart.

I am tempted to move my child to new team, not because we club hop or think our kid is better, just that we are not sure this is the best enviroment to learn in right now and are afraid they are not getting what they need in terms of coaching and direction.

Your thoughts, good, bad or whatever, no offense will be taken as we are not new to the forum and characters on it.
