I guess you weren't at the same camp my daughter attended last week (this being her third year). The opening meeting was held in a air conditioned meeting room. The fields being used are now at the new Univ of WG athletic complex. They are beautiful bermuda fields. The campers are being transported to and from the fields on new air conditioned buses supplied by the University of West Georgia. My daughter said the food was the best it's been. I did notice they were filling the coolers with "hose" water. I guess you never drank water from a hose as a kid. You must have grown up drinking Dasani, Aquafina, Evian, or maybe Spoiled (and pampered) Water, uh, I mean SmartWater. The closing ceremonies were held in the parking lot, brief, about 30 minutes long.
