Depends on the age group. For example, this past years CF U17 SPL boys team was competitive with the U16 CF DA team (they scrimmaged often). However, there wasn't a single team in the state, CI, R3PL etc that gave them any competition at State Cup ( they also did not give up a goal at Regionals, losing in PK's to the eventual champion, Solar). They were not as competitive with the U18's, but didn't get killed. Maybe they were an exception, but based on this experience, CI is much weaker than DA. I don't know of any U18's this past year that could stay on the pitch with either CF or GUA. As far as the U16's go, I doubt that any of the SPL, R3PL or CI could stay on the pitch with the CF or GUA u16's. As the age groups get older, the gap gets wider. With DA being free and everyone now recognizing that it is by far the better league, most of the top players are there. Not to say there aren't any good players in CI, but they will not develop as they will not get the competition they need to develop along with the other top players who are playing DA.
