I say for girls yes

Very few if any of the top players are not playing ODP. Before you say some smartass remark remember that all these teams play each other. It is pretty obvious by age group who the players are and they are out there for the girls. A very small few are not. And as far as ECNL goes that is NOT a replacement for ODP. They may try to sell that but this is individaul players all playing together not teams. By the above post you see Ga only has 5 or teams in all the age groups combined that coaches will always watch. The rest Over half are just not that good and would be high a bracket or mid pack R3PL teams. If you think that being seen at camp and events by National staff and region coaches(Most of which are college coaches) is not worth your time you have OD'd on ECNL koolaid. If you make the region team you are going to be seen equal to any other league out there. It is a team of the top girls which is what ECNL is in theory and as results show is FAR from it.
