      Lots of things can change during the first half of a season. Perhaps you have a new coach and he cant communicate with your child or other players were added durning mid season that bring the team down and interfere with your childs development. Teaching children to be honest and follow though with commitment is important but if you are in a situation where you are getting the shaft it is important to let your kids stand up for what is right, and move on.
