  • Just returned from the Milton Booster Club meeting - Just Oncredible!

      My son is a jv 9th grader so this is my first booster club meeting and I was amazed. First, the annual cost per player is $875, which is just unbelievable. Next, six different parents, all big contibutors to the booster club, addressed the group. Finally, the financial report indicated that the booster club spent over $15,000 on gifts for the boy's varsity coaches. This just blows my mind. I was the president of the booster club at a school in Delaware when my daughter played and the whole booster club budget was less than $5,000 and each player paid $100.
