  • Multiple sports has kept my daughter from feeling "burnt out"

      She started dance at 3.
      Changed to soccer at 4 (loved playing with on co-ed youth teams).
      Went to Academy at U9.
      Now a U14 and still loves it.

      She also played Upwards Basketball for 3 years.
      Middle School volleyball, basketball & track for 2 years.

      Made many friends thru playing a variety of sports.

      The only time she thought about quitting soccer was over some drama with fellow team mates several years ago. She got past that!

      Let them enjoy the sports they like.
      I despise this mentality that kids need to specialize at a young age.
      I've talked to some high school & 1 college coach and they say they preferred students athletes that played more than one sport.
