      Depending on each team's total player strength and individual skills, some forwards do their best work "drawing" defenders away from defending the goal, leaving other attackers (either the other forward or attacking midfields) with a better opportunity to score goals.

      Forwards are like any other position on the field. Very often it is the job that they do "away" from the ball that counts more than what they do "with" the ball.

      Good coaches already know this.
