when they supported illegal and destructive activity, including the illicit drug trade and so many ridiculous "benefits" that nobody could ever want or cash in on. The medical community (AMA, etc) turned its head for profit along with the legal system and law enforcement, as legit business enterprises struggled to make heads or tails about what was actually in their insurance plans and cost structures. Some of the most wealthy leaders directly enabled and pushed legislation that actually promoted very dysfunctional behavior and habits at the expense of taxpayers, consumers, and the system. If it is wrong for the punk on the street, it is wrong for the corporate junkie or professional crook. When there are not really any consequences for what is obviously detrimental, the negative behavior spreads like a disease. CEOs and stockholders should really look at what they are supporting and actually expect healthy environments for productivity and safety. Simple. Do not tolerate anti-social behavior from the top down. We cannot afford to ignore the problems anymore.
