Half the pool of 94's, not going. Many girls not going due to club team tournaments or other reasons. I agree competition has been weak the past few years there - don't know about 95's

Here is information about the ODP event. It's being played on the Decatur complex which I think is the best in the Southeast. I know it's not a good enough event for us, even though it's good enough for many colleges and other ODP teams including team a youth team from Mexico. I'm waiting for something that's worthy of my team playing.Just because there are 60 college signed up to look at potential college players none are worthy. Were so good that I am thinking of charging these event a participation fee because I don't see how they can go on with out us.

AYSA Hosts 4th Annual ODP College Showcase
March 29-30th @ Jack Allen Soccer Complex, Decatur AL

March 29-30th, AYSA will be hosting the 4th Annual ODP College Showcase at Jack Allen Soccer Complex in Decatur AL. This will be the largest showcase yet with ODP programs from Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, and Ohio South competing. In addition to these ODP programs, the youth team (93s) of Mexican 1st division pro club, Monterrey Rayados, will be competing in the event.

As is every year, we will have college teams competing on the Saturday of the event in showcase matches. Men’s teams of Auburn University - Montgomery, Christian Brothers University, and Alabama A&M will be playing. On the women’s side, we will have: Alabama, Auburn, UAB, Samford, South Alabama, APSU, MTSU, Memphis, Martin Methodist, Columbus State, and Vanderbilt. This year there are currently 60 colleges represented recruiting these top players in this 6 state region. As our ODP cycle continues, this will be final event prior to many selections for upcoming events. Selections will be made after this for: Regional Camp selections, 91/92 and 93 boys trip to Guadalajara, Mexico, 91-93 girls trip to the Texas Shootout, 91-93 boys selection for training at Mexican professional academy, 91-93 girls selection for training and guest playing at Fortuna Hjorring, Denmark.
