| Just noticed, I don't see a lot of the top teams in any of the local Memorial Day tournaments this year (namely GSA SuperCup). What are they doing instead to prepare for SC?

maybe playing some scrimmages. I think gsa super cup has lost its luster.

couple good friendlies among teams not in the same bracket over the weekend are much cheaper and more likely to avoid injuries right before SC.

only a week before you are risking some short term injuries that may not heal in 5 days but given a two week break you could be back and playing, SC was moved up a week this year

What are you talking about? State Cup was not moved up a week this year. For at least the past several years it's always started the weekend after Memorial Day.
