Play-In Teams: Appreciate Your Assistance w/Columbus Hotel SpaceMay 16 2008 at 2:30 PM No score for this post | Sleepless in Alabama... |
| We are currently holding a block of rooms in Alabama due to a mixup with one of the Marriott properties in Columbus. In calling around, it seems most every Columbus hotel is still fully booked, although I realize that many cancellations will be made following this weekend's games.
For teams that happen to lose their play-in games, and would be willing to transfer their block of rooms to our team rather than releasing them, we would greatly appreciate it.
If you are able and willing to assist, please send an email to Lee at: soccerclan@live.com
Thanks in advance for your consideration. |

Most hotels will not allow this--they have waiting lists already. Do the fair thing and join the lists--don't undercut people who are already on the lists. |

Plus, once you have a block of rooms, you have to call in the individual names and credit cards anyway, so it's no different that switching the entire block to someone else's name or to another team.
I will let the original poster know if we don't end up needing our rooms. |

don't need to use our rooms. This way you will not have to go to the back of the line. I hope you don't mind me asking, but how much over quoted room rate would you be willing to pay? I have 15 rooms booked for all of the days up until the final 2. |
