1) Brookwood has been poorly coached by AM and current coach. On average, over the last 10 years Brookwood has had equal or better talent then every other Region 8 team (including the 3 year state title streak by Parkview). The Brookwood coaches have failed to consistently put the best players in the right positions on the field.
2) Brookword players consistently perform under their capability. I can't blame all of that on the coaching. Once you're on the pitch, you can play with 100% effort for as long as you're on the pitch. If you don't (which Brookwood players don't consistently do) that's on YOU, not the coach.
3) Many Brookwood parents think their daugthers are better players than they truly are. Additionally, they don't hesitate to whine and complain to their kids, other parents, and indirectly to the coach. They enable their daughters to play with less than full effort.
If Brookwood had solved these problems 10 years ago, they would have won 3-5 state championships.

Just let the kids and coach do the best they can and leave it at that.

The point of the original post is that neither the coach nor the players are doing the best they can...

OP is right on. BW coach wants to ignore where the girls play for their club team. Parkview coach and Grayson community coach know more about BW players than the BW coach.
The fact is that if you want to run a 3-4-3 formation, it leaves you open to get countered real quickly which is what happened last Friday night. They let 1 girl beat them twice when they had the lead.

I am telling you. If you are a concerned parent and want a coach that can right the ship, MK has been shopping around to come back. Did quite well at North and he used to coach at Brookwood a long time ago I am pretty sure.
Can't hire from outside of the county now with current restrictionsNo score for this post

in part to get away from the crazy parents at NG?
Why would he want to step into an already volatile situation with unrealistic expectations at Brookwood?
