SM has three captains that are all playing in the divarsity game. It was time for someone other than PG to be the one. I guess that didn't happen.

SM gets the good with the bad. PG will sit three games a season because of his personality but dang the kid is all that! If Clemson can control him he is one of the best

Having said that Greenbriar is my pick to win it all! Great Talent!

Peachtree ridge earlier this year and they were out played

Greenbrier just needs to manage long balls and man mark forward and they own Lambert

how one player has gotten into so many peoples heads...I go back through many of these posts and they want to talk about how good Lambert is or Greenbrier is but then they have to add a comment about the SM player. He must be pretty good for all of this jealousy. Good for him. He must be at the top since so many are trying to bring him down to their level.

Just look at Clive's post...He wants to talk about the upcoming game, but can't because this player is more front of mind than the two teams in the final...

He would have been the second best striker playing that day had he not got the red card. Certainly would have made a difference, but SM didn't look great all day.

Yeah, he plays C1 and is very fast. They also have two midfielders who both play DA and are going to play D1.

very proud of his accomplishments as an athlete but, very embarrassed of his behavior. They should of nipped this in the bud when he was younger.

Another word for parents

We were fortunate enough to have a son who somehow (wasn't genetics) was quite good at soccer and received a great deal of attention since he was heading to a major D1 program and received a lot of press. Looking back it is actually quite comical how overly jealous parents act and react. We would hear both on here and at events how bad a kid our son is because he cussed in a game or was 'too competitive'.

In the end you should/will realize these are petty people (mainly high school soccer parents not club) who are envious that their little Timmy wasn't as accomplished as yours at a sport. What they failed to realize is that they should have been all along celebrating their son's accomplishment both on and off the athletic field. They will also realize they missed a great opportunity to connect with their child by not focusing on them and instead trying to bring others down.

Ignore the crap and the crappy people.

Younger son (younger academy) who is a pretty good player for his age. And I am already hearing rumblings on the sideline from other parents on the team if he scores too many goals or doesn't pass when they think he should. Thanks for the advice. It looks like it doesn't end for the better players. I am with you. I wish people could focus on good things in their child and not what they perceive as negative in others. Thanks again for the sage advice.

I must agree. The kid has a great talent. As a player who played against him this season,i got very frustrated playing defense against such a great player. Who cares how his attitude is on the field. People only notice this when he is dominating the field of play so the jealousy factor sets it. Well said! good luck to him at the next level.
