Word is that the roster is already set, with the majority of the players coming from, yep you guessed it, NSA. All of the 96's who were FT and DP with the 95/96 team are on the roster. So, if your kid hasn't heard anything, chances are he will not hear anything in the future either. Maybe it's best if he tryout for the CI or CII teams.

Looks like they might have some opportunities, especially for some CF players that may be on the bubble and/or don't want to play for GB (I know that is shocking).

This is why the alliance is doomed.

Why would a club pay into the alliance when TA is taking his players, who by the way, are not the top players. As they continue to lose and not be competitive, DA will drop them and go back to an individual club model like CF.

Where did your "word" come from? I know several players from NSA and other clubs too and many are talented players; but players nor parents haven't heard anything yet. Do you know of any players personally that have been contacted as of yet? I have heard what TA isn't looking for in players..it was clearly stated but no players have been contacted.

Same thing was said last season, then the complaints started about how many non alliance players were on the team and how many alliinace players were left off. Either way, someone complains, so I think the coaches will certainly pick who they think is best to help the team be the best it can. Now if players are equal, it makes sense to go with the alliance guys. A lot of players are flocking to the alliinace clubs (NSA, AFA, NASA) in particular to get the chance at DA. If not at U16, then at U18. You certainly have the opportunity to show yourself that way more so than anyh=where else, but if a better player comes along, you're out of luck.

If you look at the best available players for the U-18's for GUA they would come from CF. between the returning U18's, the U16's that are moving up and the U17 SPL/NL players, there are not enough spots on the rising U 18 roster at CF. The Alliance does not have any teams which have this level of experience at this age group. Seems like it would make sense to grab these kids instead of taking someone with CI level of experience.

CF U17 SPL/NL ???

Maybe 2 or 3 from this team is DA material,...Maybe. Other teams may have as many. I do agree that CF has more players than spots for the U18 DA team, but that's from the current U16 team moving up and the 4 or so returnees from the U18 team. GUA has 3 returning U18s, but the U16s had about 3 or 4 '96s that will remain, =and they may be trying to upgrade a few players. So is CF. I know that all the 95s on the U16 team won't be back, either by choice or by force. A lot of bickering on this team so there's bound to be changes. Should be interesting to see movement, if any, and to see how many players from RPL/SPL/NL from different clubs try out this year. I imagine the coaches have made calls to those they want, but there may be room for a diamond in the rough.

Just wait until after State Cup when the CF U17 team has destroyed the rest of the age group. They just beat the U16 DA team lst week in a scrimmage (I know, a scrimmage doesn't mean anything, but the GSA U17's that are supposed to be the #2 seed in this age group lost to the U16 DA team 9-1 the day before. And BTW, CM played on Sunday against the CF team, but not on Saturday against GSA). So before you start ragging on the CF U17's saying they don't have any qality players, maybe you ought to see them play first.
