They came to GSA as a team at u11 from Decatur-Dekalb YMCA where Shawn Walsh was their coach. They came to play fro TC who did a great job continuing their development and the rest is history.

To be the best in the state, and you cannot compete for the title. There goes one memory they won't get back.

They've had that title the past 2 years.

That's enough of one memory. It's time to try for bigger ones.

CF is very close to them in skill level, but GSA is much more consistent.

Easy to say that the year we aren't in it. Blow hot air all you want, but the past results speak for themselves.

GSA 2-1 last time they played CF. Very close game that could have gone either way.

Their games are always close because CF plays defensively.

CF has a good defense, but little offense. They can keep it close against GSA, but they can't win.

Defense, offense, it doesn't matter. Close is close and CF is a team GSA is scared of.

Close doesn't count in soccer. GSA won't be scared of CF until they show the capability to win.

CF has only scored 2 goals on GSA in the last 7 meetings. No one would be scared of that.

Score was close but the game wasn't. Concorde played a 6.3.1 the last time they played and spent the whole game clearing the ball. Concorde is nowhere close. Concorde is no better than the teams in SPL/RPL or AFU. If they were, a few parents wouldn't be burning up the phone lines trying to get new girls to bump the bottom half of the team. Few solid defenders and midfielders. One striker that strikes and finishes well but is otherwise a very mediocre player.
