plans are developed and communicated to the public.

Many roads are overutilized during peak hours causing traffic jams. During off peak hours, the road assets are very underutilized.

I won't vote for any additional taxes to build more roads/public transportation until the plan includes serious attempts to change current road usage patterns (telecommuting, toll roads with cheaper rates off peak hours, etc.)...

People in Metro Atlanta own cars and want to DRIVE them to WORK. Georgia DOT either doesn't realize there is a capacity problem, doesn't know how to increase the capacity or doesn't have the MONEY to implement the increase in capacity.

The communist (Central Planners) in Atlanta are ignoring the problem. They want don't want people to drive to work. They want to eliminate transportation rather than provide the road capacity that the people desire.

nothing more gratifying than ripping past 400/285 logjam on a Marta train.

sure, you get a ride and a show (for the cost of a ride) at non Business rush hours but it is safe and clean. mostly.

don't be skeered..
