How many teams do GSA have in this age?

I have never seen a GSA Red team not being their top team. Do they have a GSA ECNL, then GSA Red and GSA white?

Mistake to call themselves Red then

I wouldn't send a lesser team to a tournament under your top brand. Kind of like identity theft. You've worked to hard to build your brand. Name them something else going forward. Everyone will see the loss as a GSA red team regardless. You know how suspicious we can be on the forum. But I believe you for now.

They couldn't compete in Athena A last spring, so they are either going to have to dual roster ECNL and Athena A or get smoked this fall.

The two SSA teams in Athena A were much better than the GSA team but I guess the politics decides who got the A spot even though they had a team go ECNL.

The team from West is very good and the team from Northwest was good as well.

The Central team is in a different league even though the other SSA teams competed very well.

Huh? The only reason West didn't get last was the 2nd Cobb team was so bad in A last

Spring. West is not very good. They are actually quite bad. Central just tied them so how are they in a league of their own?

Watched the game. Uncharacteristic breakdown on D by SSA Central. Do they have a new player on D because that back line was SOLID last year? There was a lineup working well, but when sub came in, there was a breakdown. Strikers also need to put balls on frame. Hope they work out the kinks by Atlanta Cup and fall season.

Same Girls that Played Athena A

may or may not be their ECNL team but it was the same girls that played Athena A last year. If its not their ECNL team than they recruited 15 new ones to play ECNL.

The Truth on GSA U14 Team

No score for this post
August 13 2012, 7:58 AM

GSA has 2 teams at the U14 age group (GSA ECNL and GSA RED). GSA RED had 4 ECNL players guest play with them this weekend to fill in for their injured players. GSA added 8 girls to the ECNL team and the program added a total of 14 girls that allowed them to form 2 teams and the ECNL team will be action this weekend.
