season kicks off this weekend in both leagues....what to expect?

well NASA/NSA don't start this weekend, it's just SSA in R3PLE. but keep an eye on the other SPL teams in action, a couple important games

SSA with a tough game against NC Alliance (used to be triangle fc). also interested in the SPL game between La. Fire and SCU

The SCU-LA fire game will likely decide the winner of SPL. I just don't think anyone else will challenge these two teams for the top. 2-1 LA fire wins

Opening weekend of R3PLE play has sunrise and NC fusion playing (new Triangle merger team) and these are both teams that should finish near the top of the league. I'm expecting a 0-0 or 1-1 tie.

We will also get a good idea of what the SSA team is going to look like. I was told they added an ODP player from Confire ECNL and the SSA central offense to the team and they're pretty excited about the season. CASL finished dead last, last year, and NC fusion should be very strong. This weekend should be a good indication of what level the team is playing at. I think they beat CASL by at least 2 goals but lose to Fusion or pack the defense for a tie.

I don't know as much about that SSA team as you do, but I agree SCU-Fire and Sunrise-NC are 2 big games. Yes, the winner of SCU-Fire might be impossible to catch for 1st place.....both teams will know it, so maybe a cautious 1-1 tie. we'll see. I have a feeling NC fusion might sneak a win over Sunrise, but who knows. depends on how all these teams are looking at the start of the season, if they picked up any new players who are still adjusting.....it'll be interesting. other GA teams I'm sure will be observing the scores closely.

NASA/NSA will be surprised when they get their a** handed to them by SSA this year. It may be only 1-0 but both teams will lose to SSA, remember this prediction it is a sure thing.
