How is there an exempt list for the '01s? Isn't this the first year they were eligible?

I read the website, Dorothy. How is there a previous state pool when this is the first year they were eligible? When was the DTC program for this age group?

thanks...that's what I assumed but since I am new to this I wanted to ask.

You would have known there was an invitational camp for them this summer and the top ones were exempted from tryouts.

Website said it starts with '02 when we read it.

It officially starts this year with the 2002's, I believe.

Just the 01s were exempted. 02s wait til next year

is the idea to get a bunch of parents to pay another $30, give them and their kid hopes of making it and then saying sorry you didn't make it because we have "exempt" players from certain clubs that took those spots. At least buy mom/dad dinner before screwing him/her out of the $30.

The only exempts from this years pre odp camp were the 01s. 02s who at the camp will be exempt next year.
