as the MDX. I dunno if you follow the forums over at Edmunds, but the need for the split seat was debated for a while.
I figure that the MDX and Pilot can hold up to five people and still have the third row folded flat for hauling the luggage that five people will require. In the Ody, the second row is a pair of captain chairs. So you can only fit four people in the first two rows and you would need the third row for a fifth person. Since the Ody's rear bench doesn't split, you can't store as much luggage. So, theoretically, the Pilot and MDX should have less need for the split than the Ody does. |
