The new CRV is good enough to replace the old CRV.
If you are looking for what the Pilot promises (more room, etc.), then the Pilot might fill those needs.
I our case, we are keeping the 97 CRV (the thing better last 10 years!) We would be replacing a 15 year old VW with the Pilot, since our needs have changed.
The CRV is fine for around town, but we need more room for traveling with our 6 mo.old baby.
I'm assuming the Pilot's handling will be very similar to the Oddysse.
