I have a friend who works for a major auto manufacturer and he tells me that almost all leather seats even in Caddy's and Lincolns are the same way. They do this for durability and cost. By the way I talked to a couple of seat shops and they both had the same opinion of heated leather seat. Beats up the leather. Have you seen any aftermarket leather for the Pilot? If so where and how much? I really like the leather in my '98 Accord and I would not mind it in the Pilot. Thanks
