question concerning performance upgrade

i noticed that there is a k&n filter for the mdx engine - (I'm) assuming it will work for the pilot - how about any intake systems out there - anyone know of any and spark plug suggestions and lastly how about any brake upgrades? (it seems like the explorer or some vehicle including the highlander, brakes better than the pilot and i would like to improve this)
