MDX Questions

While the MDX is a fine vehicle, there are some questions that I would want answered before I went in that direction.

How long are the MDX waiting lists? I can get a Pilot next week.

Do you end up paying a premium for the MDX or end up with options that you may not want? If there is a long waiting list, then the dealers will be looking for a premium price.

Is the MDX going to be upgraded substantially for the 2003 year to differentiate from the 2003 Pilot? If that happens, you might end up with the equivalent of an 2002 Acura Pilot. We all know what happens to the value of a vehicle when there is a substantial redesign of the current model, it normally drops.

Finally remember you are comparing a 2003 Pilot versus a 2002 MDX, so you are also looking at a vehicle that will be considered to be a year older when you go to trade it in.
