Just to make you feel even better about your value... I was considering the Volvo XC90, and talked to my dealer (I've driven Volvos for years.) In a few years you may see a base model in the high 30's, but in the beginning (Nov. '02) they will only offer the larger engine, and "nicely equiped" he expected it to be $46K, no discounts. I wish I had been on the list for a Pilot sooner, I'm not having any luck finding one, and like you I've explored most of the competition. Congrats!
