This is a vehicle that I hope and pray I will someday be able to afford because it should be as practical as a minivan but NOT a minivan. I actually have a very good friend who is planning on buying one and I told him that in a few years when he is ready to get something new and I have my V paid off I will gladly take his. That is probably the only way I can afford one. Part of the reason I decided to buy an 01 V instead of the 02 was so I could put the thousands I saved on the 01 towards (hopefully) the new Pilot, or whatever other 7 passenger vehicle I decide to buy. Then the Pilot (or minivan if that is the case ) will be for the family and I will just be commuting in my V. Then both my wife and I will have vehicles we can haul up to three kids in since my '90 Mazda extended cab pickup won't suffice. Those are the plans so far and could always change.

My '99 CR-V has been a joy. When I bought it, I was just married, buying a townhouse, getting started... The CR-V met all my immediate needs. But now I'm starting to accumulate more stuff (2 dogs instead of one) and traveling with two hounds and people has become difficult. I've also gotten involved with youth-oriented groups. I need more space! I'd love to get mself into an MD-X, but the wife has a TL, so my luxury itch has been scratched and I can't justify the price.

I just wish Honda had a better name for it.
