Any word on the horsepower and torque number's for the new pilot? I'm assuming that it's about the same class as the new Cheve Trailblazer right? Since that has 270HP I'm hoping that Honda would do something to beat it. I'd definatly be in if they could make a 300hp Pilot!!
Any thoughts?

The engine is supposed to be a detuned version of the MD-X 3.5L V6. I am personally expecting something like the '02 Ody engine. 238 hp and it runs on regular gas.
When comparing to vehicles like the Chevys and Fords, remember that Honda tends to make their cars (and trucks) lighter than the American competition. They don't need as much power to get moving. For example, the 160 hp CR-V will run 0-60 in about 8-9 seconds. That's about the same as the 200 hp Escape.

There is no way that it will be more than 240hp. Maybe 225, with gobs of torque, but they can't have it out class the luxury model. Unless the MDX will have a 300hp model option this year, and that is not gonna happen either. I bet on 215-235hp, 200-250fp of torque.
We all would like to see a 350hp detuned V-8 of what they run in CART competition, but it's not gonna happen. Honda has a reputation of being a 'green' company, and they aren't going to threaten that image with any one vehicle. You can guarantee that this Pilot will be powerful enough, remarkably sporty, functional, and an LEV, and will rank near the top of every other major automobile ranking you can find. That's the way they do business.
