I was in the Mazda/Nissan dealership picking up a maintenance part for my pickup and ran into the owner of the dealership who also owns the Honda dealership in town. It's the only Honda dealership within about 75 miles or so and is the one I have always despised because of the way the service department has treated me in the past. Anyway, I introduced myself to the owner, a very nice lady, and asked her what she knew about the Pilot. She said it should be out about the middle of June with just a few to start with. She said she thought availability should be as bad or worse than the Odyssey of which they have hardly ever had any in stock for people to test drive. She didn't know what the pricing would be other than what she has read on the internet but the cool thing is that she said her dealership would NOT be selling them over MSRP as she predicted many probably will. Unfortunately I didn't ask her if they would be slapping on unnessessary accessories and charging tons of money for them on top of the sticker price. But it did sound encouraging and if nothing else hopefully I was getting browny points with the owner.
