Latest on I Spy book release

One more small delay to announce: McFarland & Company, the publishers of the upcoming I Spy book, have pushed back production until February 7th. McFarland is a busy publishing house with over 2000 books currently in print, and a few new ones coming out every week, so, when a publishing date is missed, a book has to get back in line for the next opening with the printers. In this case, a few corrections needed to be made regarding the pictures being used, causing the I Spy book to miss its planned December 28, 2006 run.
The good news is, I've been told that everything is finalized on McFarland's end with the manuscript and the artwork, and the book is now at the printers. While McFarland is always very careful not to announce definative dates for publcation - and projected release dates are just that ... projections - the word from inside is that the book should be out soon, perhaps before the end of February.
